I saw this movie about 1995, must have been from the late 80s or early 90s.
There's this blond boy and his dark haired best friend who need to raise money for some reason, probably something
about the kid's parents missing or being out of town.
All I remember is them testing their luck as street musicians first (with a mouth shaped ocarina) before they end up in a fancy mansion where they are supposed to prepare dinner and pour an entire bottle of rum into a dessert.
The blond kid was the protagonist. He preferably dressed in Aloha shirts and owned a parrot. Maybe his grandpa or some elderly male figure was part of the plot. I also asumme the film was named after it's protagonist, probably something starting with the letter C?
That's pretty much what I recall about it, anybody got some ideas?

      Blank Check (1994)
      "? i remember he buys a mansion.

Thanks a lot but that's not the one. I'm looking for a more obscure/low budget flick, probably made for TV stuff.
