I made it up as an improvement? Millenials are cheat terms. Generation Z is never well-defined. They want to set aside people born from 1983-1985 as a certain generation, which might make sense. 1986 might be 1/2 year of a generation. I'm not sure what will work out. 1983-1984 is its own animal, in fact. 1984-1985 is the year of desire.

You can't really improve generations though. They are what they are. Typically a generation is a twenty year span.
1040-1960…greatest or golden
1960-1980… Gen X
1980-2000… millennials
2000-2020… Gen Y or whatever
