Subjectively not as some 'power ranking'
10 Favs:- Skywarp - Totally grown on me as an adult, his personality & sense of humour/timing never quite clicked for my 6yr old self, yet now I see it! lols
He looks cool, he sounds cool, he's not a d-bag, he's as loyal to Megatron & the cause as Soundwave, & he never had a moment of silliness as cursed so many other Transformers. - Soundwave - Pretty much the quintessential Transformer for me since day 1. He fit in with any Decepticon in any episode from any season. I think it wasn't a small trait that pretty much every Decepticon & Autobot respected his place in their universe- mostly because he was loyal & not a jackass like most of the other Deceps.
- Ravage - Kind of a surprise pick but he was the life of most every scene he was a part of. His panther mode was cool on tv & as a toy.
- Megatron - Yes he kept failing & retreating on tv, but at least he persisted & kept himself in the game lol. The strongest original (before Dinobots were introduced, etc) Megatron was badass from the day we met him until the day he became Galvatron, zero let up.
- Devastator - While the Constructicons are cool, by themselves they are pretty vanilla. Devastator on the other hand was the first & still greatest combiner giant. Extremely timeless character.
- Grimlock - He became a bit sillier in season 3, but that balance makes him a more timeless character imo. Arguably the strongest pound for pound Transformer ever, leader of the coolest faction, this one is a no brainer.
- Mirage - Arguably the most unique Autobot personality + a very cool car mode, Mirage was decent. Earned the payoff for the show's opening trilogy story arc.
- Optimus Prime - Not as charismatic as most, Prime was great on-screen & to play with. His rebirth brought welcome closure to Gen 1 esp during season 3's branch off.
- Laserbeak - Possibly because he doesn't have a voice, that's cool factor. One of the few Transformers who seemed required & fulfilled their potential lol.
- Shockwave - Yes, the comics have him as a badass, but his toy & role on tv were important also.
Least 5 favs: Starscream (annoying), Superion (kinda lame), Rodimus Prime (tv killed his backbone), Kupp & Arcee (diaf).

Least favorite:
All the new characters they introduced in the movie and season 3. It completely ruined the franchise.
