A lot of people on here claim this is the greatest movie ever made and what-not.
I don't think it quite earns that title but its definately one of my favourite films from the 80s. Like its waaay up there on the list!
Anyone agree with that take on it?
Whats an 80s film you find better than this? -

Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2(I loved the sequel as much as the original)

Nightmare on Elm Street 1-5(I really can't pick a favorite out of these,I enjoyed them all)

After the Star Wars films, I'd say that Aliens, Raiders of the lost Ark, Terminator, and the Hunt for Red October are the best of the 80s. But I think Beverly hills cop would probably be in my top 10 or 15 for the 80s

Star Wars was 1977. I think Empire was 1980 and Jedi was what 84 so I guess they qaulify. And what about the Fright Night films and the Road Warrior and Silver Bullet?
