After the Star Wars films, I'd say that Aliens, Raiders of the lost Ark, Terminator, and the Hunt for Red October are the best of the 80s. But I think Beverly hills cop would probably be in my top 10 or 15 for the 80s

Star Wars was 1977. I think Empire was 1980 and Jedi was what 84 so I guess they qaulify. And what about the Fright Night films and the Road Warrior and Silver Bullet?

                            No particular order:
                            Empire Strikes Back- classic
                            Return of the Jedi- classic
                            Indiana Jones Trilogy- all classics
                            Airplane!- classic
                            48 Hours- classic
                            E.T.- classic
Rocky III (I don't like Rocky IV)
First Blood (Rambo 2 and 3 are too dated, although Rambo 4 was a great flick)
Ghostbusters- classic (Ghostbusters 2 was good)
Beverly Hills Cop- classic (BHC 2 was okay)
Back to the Future- classic (Part 2 is becoming dated, but is still one of the best movie sequels ever)
                            Cloak and Dagger
                            The Goonies
                            Die Hard

Are there any 80s films you don't like? Just kidding.

You love the 80's, you love Hollywood films - although you DID manage to get 2 'foreign' (Australian) films in there, and you clearly think decisiveness is for chumps!

Besides the Beverly Hills Cop movie..well any other Eddie Murphy movie(except for Best Defensewhile the movie was good every time Eddie Murphy showed up, the rest of the movie was bad. It could've used some more Eddie).
