About 2 minutes ago. I held off watching it because I didn't think I would like it, then saw it on an 80's horror movie site and decided to check it out. Now I'm kicking myself for not watching it for so long x_x
Eh, at least now all the movies are made so I can watch all of them at once instead of waiting years between them xD -

i first saw it around 1996 or 97 I was 15 or 16 in a show called Svengooli for anybody who doesn't live in the chicagoland area, it's a show that show that shows retro movies and the hosts name is Svengooli dresses up in scary makeup. I just remember Issac creeping me out but at the same time finding him cute.

I was at least 14 but not much older (born in 1970, so I was 13/14 when it was release). My guess is that I saw it on its first UK screening on TV. I was in the midst of an obsessive Stephen King phase in my teens, and I wouldn't have missed the chance to watch a film of one of his stories.
I'm just now rewatching it some 30 years later. Much as I remembered it in term of quality and tone. Knowing what I was like as a teenager I'm sure Linda Hamilton also impacted on my fondness for the film -

I can't remember what year for sure but it was either 85 or 86, I would've been 12 or 13. Always liked it and because of Malachai having red hair we used to call all the red head kids at school Malachai after that. In the early days of all the video rental stores this was one I made sure I talked my parents into renting for me. Lol
