Just makes no sense. Why put the body in the road? It would bring people more likely than drive them away, and there's no way they could have known the couple was coming, let alone that they wouldn't be paying attention to the road.

Joseph (the dead body) actually stubbled onto the road as he was dying holding his throat.

Malachi attacked Josh, but did not kill him out right, and he stumbled - or forced out of the corn field by Malachi. Isaac later says that a traitor would leave the group and He Who Walks Behind The Rows demanded him to be killed but don't let his blood spoil the dirt. Which Malachi confirmed he did.

They knew the two were coming because of HWWBTR which speaks through Isaac

Not sure what HWWBTR is but the reason they knew they were coming is because the little girl drew a picture. It even said 2miles on the picture.
Malachi said she had the second sight.
The girl also foretold that Linda Hamilton would be captured in her drawing.

I think the poster used "HWWBTR" as a shortcut for (okwait..wait for it!)..
