These arnt ancient times.
The stories of Conan take place in 10,000 B.C. I would have to say that this definitely was in ancient times. Now if you're talking about the real world and was referring to 1984, the date this movie came out then I agree with you. However, it was just a normal kiss. At least it wasn't a deep kiss (i.e. tongue kiss, French kiss, passionate kiss, etc.) at all. Now that would've been weird.

Wrong. The Conan story is on a fictional planet that has nothing to do with our timeline.

Places like Qatar and Saudi Arabia have no minimum age, as sex outside marriage is illegal. 8 year old girls have been married to near 60 year old men legally.
That's 71 countries out of 195 that have a consent age of lower than 16. That's over 36% of the world! I'm sure that there are other places that I don't know of that have the same lower ages. After all, Canada had an age of consent of 14 right up until 2008, and the Vatican City raised their age of consent from 12 to 18 only last year. -

There is such a thing as taste. Sure if the girl is 16 (age of consent in most places) then fine show it but dont show stuff thats could be taken as sick these days.

Nope, that'd make her about fifteenor younger, since the film was released in '84and shot and produced for some period prior to its release (maybe those production details are available here).
At any rate, I agree it's more about the mores of the world in which the film is set; it's not weird to them, and that's the point. Sure, we can reflect on issues of age and consent in our own culture, but the differences between Conan's and ours don't stop there, what with magic and socery in his, along with people traveling the countryside and lopping the heads of savages, etc.
Beyond that, mythic women are often cast youngerthe "princess archetype"as with Carrie Fisher in Star Wars (19 during shooting), and Mia Sara in LEGEND (15 at the time or production).
