MM maybe becase he didnt' want anyone to recognize him (and he save the girl only because he had some "attraction" to her?)this is my opinionin case viewing my loved tim roth shooting,it's always a pain(he dies in almost all his movies!;(

Ive been thinking about this since I have seen the movie for the first time about 20 years ago.
Maybe Braddock had planned to kill Willie and Myron if anything goes wrong already from the very beginning? Why else did he have the rucksack and the other clothes in the trunk of the car which made him appear like a harmless hiker? -

Willie and Myron had a conversation earlier in the film in which Willie said that they are both safe until Paris. And Myron said that Bradock will take him to another jobs if he will like Myrons work. Then Willie asked him what will happen if he won't like it, but Myron didn't answer this question directly.
So I thought that Bradock just didn't think that Myron did well
