That features a scene in which (IIRC):
A "bad guy" is sitting in the front seat of a car and a woman who (supposedly) doesn't speak English is sitting in the back. Out of the blue, the fellow in front makes an offhand remark ("you've got bird s**t in your hair) and the woman in back reacts to the comment by reaching up to see whether or not she /does/ have, er, material in her hair.
If this is the film I'm thinking of, I will be renting it within the week. I saw it way back when and thought it was brilliant.
If it isn't, can someone please put me out of my misery? -

I rented this on video not long after it came out, and it made an impression on me. Just very unique, surreal, a bit unsettling at points. Certainly not a film for the masses, but very artistic and deliberate. Each of the main characters is very unique in his/her own right. Just doesn't remind of any other film.
