I know I saw a black and white movie about a woman pilot - I think it had to do with
carrying mail, or maybe military secrets- I remember it having Joan Crawford, but I can't find it in her list. I think there is a scene where she has to make a decision to continue flying
on, even though she knows it will be the end of her. Ring any bells- I gotta find it!

      Maybe
      They Flew Alone (1942)
, which starred Anna Neagle as real-life Britsh pilot Amy Johnson?

THAT'S IT! I "dis-recollected" that it was Joan Crawford, but when I saw Roz Russell's name, that snapped my memory back. Thank you!
