Daniel lied about his dad dying becasue he was too embarassed to tell Miagi that his dad went out for a pack of smokes one night and never came back. The shame of having a whiny wimp of a son finally wore on him enough that he couldnt take being around him anymore.

As for your synopsis of what really happened to Daniels father, maybe you are right. Certainly seems like it could be true given Daniels whiny nature. Just be honest and answer with your real account, or are you ashamed?

Oh and this is my real account, we have gone back and forth on at least one occasion, I just dont usually log on when I come to this site, but maybe I should more often. -

Ok, back on topic boppers, lets low ball this for a minute, say the dad left because Daniel wasn't a real son or even his and Lucille was such a dingbat that he never came back or living in Newark, he got robbed and killed.
