Todays you have teens with their pants down on their knees with their skidmarked underwear showing or overweight teens in too tight clothes (especially in the usa) and otherwise teens looking like emo or post-punk style

Just goes to show how FAKE our country has become. Not to mention LAZY! something as simple as an explosions on a TV show and/or movies that is all computer generated. Even the news caster's.. The Hollywood drama and build up? Not one ugly person.

Exactly.
And you didn't have half he guys with their asses hanging out of their pants. Most people were athletically thin. Didn't have the whole grubby, flat, greasy haired, who cares grunge look or the fake hipster blah look either.
TV and movies were not as over-produced, everything wasn't calculated by some focus group about so and so would feel about this or that. -

Yeah to some extent what I said above but also I mean: Nicole Eggert, Alyssa Milano, Kristy Swanson, Amanda Peterson, Rebecca De Mornay, Kelly Preston, Phoebe Cates, Debbie Gibson, Brooke Shields, Heather Locklear, Kelly LeBrock, why not Molly Ringwald from this film??, Christina Applegate, Tracy Smith, Samantha Fox, Mia Sara, Ione Skye, Tawny Kitaen, Jennifer Connelly, how long do I keep typing.

Back then they cast people who looked like regular teenagers, not unrealistic primped 25 year olds with plastic surgery who are professionally styled within an inch of ther lives, go to a school nowadays nobody looks like the 'teens' on the CW.

Exactly! Kids in teens films in the 80s looked and dressed exactly like what 80s and early 90s teens looked like. There was no need, and still is no need to make every high school girl have fake boobs, dressed like a Calvin Klein ad and talk as if they have a PhD IN Psychology.

Was it because the boys/men had short, non-greasy hair? Or because they were clean shaven? It must be because they didn't have earrings or 50 tattoos.
I suppose the women were ugly because they weren't showing clevage or wearing shorts so short you could see pubes.
I've never thought Molly,Ringwald was that attractive, I'm not a fan of redheads, male or female. It's also hugely noticeable that her teeth weren't well cared for. But, she has good skin, well proportioned features and is wearing a decent hairstyle for short hair in the 80's.
