      I'm not so sure that it was a Targ that Kruge had. I remember in a TNG episode that you saw Worf's pet Targ he had as a kid, that one looked significantly different.
      That one resembled a Wild Boar a whole lot more.

          It was 100% a puppet created by Ken Ralston. Just a piece of rubber with some paint and a couple operators. It is unofficially classified as a "warrigul." It is not a targ.

              No problem. I say "unofficial" because the thing we only referred to as a warrigul in the novelization. The crew called it lots of different stuff.
