star fleet really treat the crew badly and the ship too, they don't give kirk answers , they don't like people talking about genesis , also the Enterprise was a whole new redesign , it wasn't some clunky old ship. in our world the Missouri was older than 20 years and that was still going

I agree. You would think that the ship and her crew. Who has the galaxy so many times would get more respect. Besides, isn't Enterprise the Flagship of Starfleet?

It was the Enterprise-D who was the flagship of Starfleet, none of the others before her had that honorable position.
During the Dominion war, the USS Defiant frequently served as the flagship.

Okay. I think where I got the impression that Enterprise was always the Star Fleet Flagship was that scene in Star Trek (2009) when Captain Pike mentioned that the while the rescue mission to Vulcan wasn't exactly the best way to have the Star Fleet Flagship start her career (after all, if you can't believe Christopher Pike, who can you believe?)
I am a Vulcan. We embrace technicalities.

That's the Abrams universe where Pike mentions this, everything is a bit different there.
But OK, in the reboot the Enterprise is also the largest and most modern ship in the entire fleet.
Here the ship is actually a bit larger than the Enterprise-D from the old universe.
