I know how you feel the film + TV series was all it needed not another of the classic remakes they have been doing
I don't mind if they do films or TV shows based off of books, Comics, Computer Games, But not films or TV shows they have already done
I mean some of TV shows like 21 Jump Street for example has been remade in to a film and a sequel which I felt were awful, Same goes for a Rush Hour TV series based of ofthe films a very big no no -

Yea exactly it should be left alone, I know they have admitted that they think it is time for an update on some classics but with this one and many others they have done in the past I have disagreed with
No I have not seen the new remake of Ghostbusters, I don't think I will as when I heard about it it really annoyed me and pissed me off- Have you seen it?
Where you from? -

I will admit the Star Trek was great and Robocop (Robocop wasn't liked because people wanted it to be made into a Michael Bay all-bombing-hot-and-dumb-chick film). They remade Escape to witch mountain and again that sucked.
My sisters tell me that if Ghostbusters had the right writer and right director then it would have been great. Maybe that is true that and also it should have just been a sequel were these gals pick up the torch. -

I like the Star Trek remake and it's sequel, But the Robocop one was awful I didn't feel sorry for Murphy being made into to Robocop- And the suit for it was stupid
Do you read every part of your message as I asked something last two times and you didn't reply to that part of it
Here is what I said last time: Apart from these silly remakes, What is your 2 fav decades for music, Films, TV shows, Technology etc -

Sorry, I just get fed up, seems like I worry that I will go to the movies disappointed. So far while I am not all disappointed as I was when I went (with high anticipations mind you) 50 shades of grey, the movies I have seen were just fine enough to make me leave the theater in a better mood.
I love the 80's stuff music, tv series and movies, some other oldies from the 50's down to the 80's. Classics are always the best. -

Dude!!!! That is a long list and it gets bigger with every film I stumble on and find to watch.
"You must of left quite a few cinemas then in the last few years, Yea 80's is one of my fav decades for music, Films, TV shows, etc"
I can tell you this much, I saw the Independence Day Insurgence (and I saw ID4 the first movie till this day the Bill Pullman speech still gives me gooesebumps when I see that scene. I love that movie!!!! I met Adam Baldwin) I loved even though audience at least some give it bad review I however love that movie to death. My only negative critic of it is the Ex-president daughter (Patricia) and Dylan Dubrow-Hiller didn't become an item, they became ever lasting friends which was nice but with all the racial problems in Hollywood I would have thought that an interracial relationship would make them happy (me I thought it would have been sweet). Sadly they had her hook up with another average reckless and risk-taking pilot who has a bad reputiation for nearly getting people killed with his stunts. Sort of the James Kirk thing (BTW it makes no sense that the hero who cheats ends up becoming captain of the enterprise and also again when he breaks rules and doesn't follow procedures). I was also sad not to see Russell Case's kids all grown up and joining in the fight to defending Earth.
I hope you have seen that.
Aliens 1986 and the first movie before that, I love both those movies but the prequel is just a big disappointment. It made no senses to me, Shaw wants to meet her Engineers and meets them ends up preg with their alien but decides to get rid of it and then leaves it to become a huge squid monster which impregs the Engineer and has the alien creature Ripley will soon fight.
Sorry I get carried away but this is some of what I can explain for now. Later.
