Furst is the best. T2 is good, but not as good. T2 is the basic bitch favorite. T1 is more atmospheric and tense. 3rd was bad, but kind of enjoyable. I saw Salvation in the theater and enjoyed it, but it was meh, and mostly forgettable. That and Genisys are tied and both mediocre and forgettable. Haven't seen Dark Fate.

the terminator franchise is like the alien franchise.
you have 1 and 2, and then everything else basically isn't canon.
1 is like a horror sci fi masterpiece and 2 is the thrill ride.
depending on your mood, the placement is interchangeable.

T2: Good, but cheesy. Hasta la vista, baby?
Terminator Genisys: Hilarious comedy!
T3: Another hilarious comedy. Talk to the hand!
Terminator Salvation: A big bowl of nothing
Terminator Dark Fate: Heinous woke garbage /unintentionally hilarious comedy
