Does that mean that Gene Wilder was in nothing but HIS birthday suit under those covers? I know actors often wear flesh colored underwear for scenes like that, and I would have assumed that was the case here as well had Kelly not flashed her nether regions whilst getting out of bed. But since she did, I can't help but wonder!
As an aside, if that WAS indeed the case, I can imagine that things must have been just a little bit awkward for the both of them during the filming of that scene (yes, I'm aware that they're actors and actors do this sort of thing all the time. But Gene was also the director in this case- not to mention the fact that he has admitted to being rather shy!)!

Did anyone else find it funny that Ted still had his shoes and socks on by the time they both stripped down to their underwear. Whenever I take my pants off, the shoes are usually first to go lol
When I first saw this movie, I thought that Ted was worried about having strong foot odor, hence why he was content to leave his shoes and socks on until CHarlotte asked him take them off.
It would have been funny if she caught a whiff of his feet and asked him to wash them before they had sex. I met a girl in college who told me a similar story, and then I saw this movie and i wondered if that was the case too lol
I love Gene Wilder movies, they never get old or tiresome!!!
