    Woman in Red
has many very funny moments, especially liked early on, Wilder's spooking out the heavy metal kid when he suspects his intentions towards hid daughter. Wilder based his script on an earlier French rom-com - but borrowing generously from
    The Seven Year Itch
and Marilyn Monroe with the set-up scene, when Kelly LeBrock, playing what else a model, has her dress blown up over her waist by a gust of wind from a grate. But I found the ending, Wilder floating on a bed of air gently down to the ground, a very soft, weak ending, spoiling the movie's build-up till then. I know Wilder has a light touch stylistically but that was too lightweight & too lame!
