Richard Blackwood is a handsome black man incredibly fit and although in his 40s he looks younger. Yes I know Tameka Epson or whatever her name is popular in the UK. But this is just not a good pairing. Why can't Vincent be paired with a young beautiful black woman who is SLIM and IN SHAPE? Come on Eastenders writers are you trying to tell me that good looking Vincent is in LOVE with fat Kim Fox? Yet pairing the character Vincent with Kim Fox is just not believable. Kim is not attractive and she is extremely fat. It is odd watching Eastenders you see these good looking young men paired with fat frumpy women. Danny Dyer wife on the show I know the actress is pregnant BUT she is just so unattractive. Same for the guy who plays Martin on Eastenders he is good looking and in shape YET he has a frumpy dumpy love interest Stacey. These soaps must be some straight female fantasy where the fat or frumpy girl can get the stud.

LOL Martin Fowler? I think you are mixing up Martin with Kush. Kush is the good looking bloke on the sqaure. When Martin said he was going to become a model everyone laughed at him.
Not saying Stacey is great looking either but compared to Martn's last love interest Sonia Sonia is way way worse. -

peter and lola were not odd, both were attractive.
Phil and kate were put together as part of a sting but she fell for him over time. -

I agree that in real life someone like Vincent would be someone younger and fitter but I guess it's funnier if he's stuck with a self-obsessed dumpy harpie like Kim. And to be fair her comic scenes can be v funny if they're not too far fetched.
There's no way that Linda is fat and frumpy, I think she and Mick are a believable couple although they both look (and are) too young to be Lee and Nancy's parents.
All Martin's bits are in the right place but he's nothing special is he? I think he and Stacey are a good couple and she is certainly a step-up from Sonia. Let's be honest Babe is a step-up up from Sonia. -

Linda is unattractive Mick can do a lot better than her and as for Martin he is a good looking bloke and I find Stacey to be frumpy and unattractive. Sonia was worst but Stacey is just as ugly as her. It just seems odd Emmerdale seems to do a better job with the actresses they hire slim and pretty. Yet Eastenders seems to have a fat, frumpy, out of shape and ugly women thing going on.

not odd, it's the look/tone the show has always gone for, they don't want to go down the whole attract viewers by hiring good looking cast route which I think is good. -

Well they were meant to have been very young parents weren't they? 16/17 or something. It is possible if they're around 40 now.

both danny dyer and the martin actor are very average looking men, they are certainly not the good looking american tv type.
