both danny dyer and the martin actor are very average looking men, they are certainly not the good looking american tv type. -

Martin is average looking at best and he is definitely not the most interesting of people to be around. Stacey is actually a pretty good catch for someone like him. In fact SHE could probably do better than him.

Don't take this as an insult, but I think you're blinded by your own sexuality. As a heterosexual guy, I sometimes have the same problem in not appreciating men's handsomeness.
If we have a Donald Trump style scale of 1 - 10. 10 being a 10 (absolutely beautiful) and 1 being so ugly you have to turn your gaze. 5 as an average looking person.
I agree on Tameka Epson's looks, I'd say she's a 3. I also can see Richard Blackwood is a good looking black guy - but I think that's part of their narrative - he's with her because he got her pregnant. He had a romance with Ronnie, and could get himself another good looking woman, but he's trying to be a good family man for his daughter.
Kellie Bright who plays Linda has aged, but she's still attractive. I'd say she's a 6. Apart from being tall, I'm not sure what is attractive about Danny Dyer (so there's my blindness).
Lacey Turner does look dowdy, at times, as that's the character she plays. She's actually quite pretty when dressed up. I put her as a 6, ordinarily, and a 7 when she goes glam. Martin is a big, pleasant enough, looking dope. I think they're quite evenly matched -

Kelly Bright aka Linda is heavily pregnant right now, but usually she has a slim, petite figure and looked hot in figure hugging dresses. Lacey Turner-Stacey has been looking a bit rough of late but she is way more attractive than Sonia, who Martin used to be with before her.

It's easy to be childish about Natalie Cassidy's looks and say she's 1 or a 0! In reality, I rate as a 4, ordinarily, and 5 (average) when she's looking her best. So above Temeka Empson - Tameka would be a 4 if she lost the weight
