Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — The Twilight Zone

I'm watching these now for the first time and every time the opening music comes on I cringe. Easily the worst music for a TV series I've ever heard.

Haha, seriously. And, because most of the episodes are Sci-Fi, the background sounds are occasionally super annoying. "The Mind of Simon Foster", set in 1999 and filled with weird, electronic/synth, pulsing sounds comes to mind.

Who are you carrying all those bricks for?

Just try to listen to the soundtrack of the short lived Paul Rodriguez comedy sitcom AKA Pablo. You would think The New Twilight Zone Theme song was Mozart.

'80s TV and movie music relied much too heavily on synthesizers and it is indeed terrible!
