I was older than 4! I bet you had some odd dreams in your infant years.
I think I was about 11, late night tv, on my own.Quitters INC is the one that stuck in my mind over the years.

that for a while, I couldn't go to sleep without lining books against every inch of my baseboards and wedging them tight against the wall with something heavy. I think I was around 8 when I first saw it. Silver Bullet also traumatized me to the point that I was terrified to go outside of the house at night. "Critters" had a similar effect, followed later by "Tremors". Those were the days of -real- scary movies none of this paranormal activity or exorcism based nonsense.

Early 80's I was about 10 (maybe 9). But one thing is certain, it scared the crap outta me. This and The Dolls!
I'm still having a hard time believing my mom thought movies like this would be great for me to watch at that age. Smh.
Then she showed me It, followed by Pet Cem sometime later.
                Man. What was she thinking?
Dam shame. Could be the reason I dislike horror, terror, gore (slasher)
~ I thought it was the thought that counts.

I first saw this film on cable TV circa 1986.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

Same here… right around the time we got cable at our first house. We got HBO for free our first month there.
We also got our first cat who looked just like General! 😸
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.
