I finally came around to watching Romero's first three 'Dead' films for the first time and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how excellent they werethey're all masterpieces in my eyes. I was at first a little skeptical, as I was born in the late 90's, so I'd thought I wouldn't like them because I wasn't born in any of the time period's the films were released in, but I was wrong. In the span of a day, these films have gone onto my favourite films list and have become one of my favourite trilogies if not my favourite trilogy to date. Now, one thing that I noticed while watching these, was that each of the films had a Resident Evil vibe that reminded me of the first three video-games in the franchiseno doubt that RE was probably inspired by the 'Dead' films. Did anyone who's ever played the first three RE games get this same vibe as well? This made me love the films even more as I'm a huge fan of the first three RE games.

yeah, no doubt about it. I was a massive Horror movie fan in the 80's, and RE ticked all the right boxes for me. I think it was the time when Zombies were probably beginning to start to break out of their underground dungeon to slowly shuffle into the mainstream
and now they rule the world!!!

Doesanyone else remember when Romero wanted to direct a RE movie in 99-2000? I was 9-10 at that time but I remember seeing some article in Fango or something back in the day.I still wish it would've happened.
