Just One of the Guys. Very underrated.
    Funny film. No fluffy moments.
    (Spoilers)
I enjoyed SKOW, but the ending seemed very forced. I don't think Keith really loved Watts; it seemed since Amanda didn't want him, he went to Watts. Plus, he bought the earrings initially for Amanda, so I felt sorry for Watts. Kind of like "sloppy seconds."

Tough one. They are two completely different movies but I have to go with Just one of the Guys. I grew up watching this movie and always get a kick out of it.

I can't choose. They both have their strong points.
Just One of the Guys has better humor. Mostly thanks to Buddy.
Some Kind of Wonderful has a better love story.
They're awesome movies and I love them both so much!
Just wish I could find Some Kind of Wonderful on DVD

There were a lot of movies back then in this class and they all have their place. Think I saw this one more though. Better off Dead was on a lot too. The Hughes movies were over rated. People now think they were important to us back then as kids but adults liked them better than we did.

That's called 'taking it for granted'. I first watched The Breakfast Club when I was fifteen and it instantly became one of my favourite movies. Every time I watch it I wish I was an 80s kid.
              I only do it with
              supe
              rhe
              roes
              .

Both films are great but I prefer Some Kind of Wonderful.
I'm reaching for the life within me. How can one man stop his ending.

Just one of the guys gets my vote and would be in my Top 5 teen movies
SKOW was good but it felt like a poor mans Pretty In Pink. I know John Hughes was behind both but it had less heart and recycled idea. I also agree the ending wasn't great.

I like this one better, but it's one of my favs from the '80s. SKOW is pretty good, too.
