For so many people wanting remakes and sequels? Why can't people be satisfied with the movie at hand? People today are too caught up with technology. Most movies pre mid 80's were good as is. Those that weren't should never be redone.
I know that some of the movies from then were remakes of movies made 40-50 years prior, and the reasons for those was a change in technology. However, that doesn't mean that the new technology we have now will make older movies better.
This does not mean that I don't like movies with the new technology, I do. I thought the Hobbit/Rings trilogies were visually stunning. I like the various superhero movies. There also many films made today that don't use a lot of special effects. And these are also good.
Anyway, just my curiosity and thoughts.
