Anybody know how long Navarre and Isabeau have been under the curse?

One reason to add for why there should be a prequel, least I would love to know and maybe get an idea how the curse was done. Nothing with fancy special effects like today or maybe with some. It all has everything to do with eclipse, it took a solar eclipse for the cures to be broken plus the lovers confronting the Bishop maybe it was a lunar eclipse that made the curse along with the bargain the Bishop made.
