Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge

When I say banned, I mean when it wasn't shown on cable tv or in any ANOES marathon whatsoever. I remember watching marathons back in the 90s, even into the 2000's and always wondering "where is part 2?" as they constantly skipped right over to Dream Warriors. Part 2 had the cult type following back then and still does today but it's become more popular now. Now, when a ANOES marathon is shown, 8-9/10 times, part 2 is included now.

It's pretty unfair how ANoES fans treated this movie since it's largely one of the better films in the franchise. How anyone can rate Dream Child or Freddy's Dead above this is a crime against humanity.
Just because I'm not on THEIR side, doesn't mean I'm on YOURS.

I agree. Along with Dream Warriors, it's easily my favorite of the Nightmare sequels.
So many stories, so little time.
