Oh man. I love that movie.
I'm still was upset Paul Rubens career fell apart and I was kid when that scandal happened. I remember flipping through all the news channels and reading anything in the Sunday paper for a journalist that described why in a way I could understand, everyone hated Pee Wee Herman. When I finally understood the problem. I accepted it but wished everyone would forgive Pee Wee so his show could return.
Unfortunately that never happened. And when he brought back Pee Wee for Broadway, I was already an adult parent. My kids didn't a flying flip about him. They looked at Pee Wee as though he were a creepy man child. -

I really dont think people understand what a genius he really is.
I think everyone really misunderstood the incident. Since he looked like what you might think was Jacko and he did kid like stuff, I think most people including my mother thought he had done something weird with kids. But once they realized what he did, nobody gaved a **** except Hollyshit of course since they stopped supporting him. Apart from his odd hypersexual tastes I dont see anything wrong with it and if anything respect him more for being so sexual and not totally hiding behind a character. In some odd ways I think you can see through his acts and see he was really a highly sexual being and not in a bad way.
From then on so many stupid nonimportant celebrities have done so much worst and nothing has happened and of course even before but somehow people really not liked him in Hollywood and this was all they really needed to bury him. Unfortunately nobody I ever knew frown upon him except weird sexual repressors and conservatives at the time but fortunately I never knew much, werent around much, and once I knew I distanced myself. I liked Peewee and I really liked when he came back to Hollywood and even better when he actually brought back PeeWee.
