What record does Pee Wee play at the beginning?

I'm suprised 'The Breakfast Machine' wasn't on Danny Elfman's greatest hits album.

The song that the OP is referring to is not The Breakfast Machine by Danny Elfman. OP clearly asks "when he wakes up from his Tour De France dream and pulls the string" a record begins to play as he does his morning routine (puts on bunny slippers, sniffs a carrot, crashes a firetruck into Mr. Potato Head, et al).
The Breakfast Machine is not until later, when he makes breakfast using gasp a Rube Goldberg Breakfast Machine.
To the OP - I am not sure the answer either, as I came here looking for the same answer. -

Okay, this is a wild shot in the dark, but here goes
I wonder how many more people are also unaware that the music heard when Pee-Wee is having breakfast is part of the film's score. Needless to say, the song "Breakfast Machine" is by Danny Elfman - and it's one of his greatest.

I haven't got the answer I.e. the title of the song, but I believe it's not The Breakfast Machine music the OP was asking about it's the music with the lyrics along the lines of "oh what a beautiful day"?

In the beginning of the film, after Pee Wee wakes up from his Tour de France dream, he pulls a string which begins a record playing to start his day
So why would you think it's the music during when Pee Wee makes breakfast? -

For what its worth, Elfman said that when he saw the theatrical presentation of the film in front of a real audience, and The Breakfast Machine came on, it was the most exhilirating experience of his life
Can you just imagine? You talent and ability, suddenly made world famous in a feature film, and it matched the tone and vibe of the film perfectly. How fulfilling would that be? -

You know, someone with that phone app that identifies songs needs to use it here (not me, sorry, my phone is just pretty much good for phone calls) - I've seen one identify an improv-heavy jazz number in like three notes.

Its one of the BEST pieces of music, for children especially. It's on the soundtrack & I used to play it for my son all the time when he was little. I don't remember the title, but I think it is something like breakfast song or close to that.

Frustrating, isn't it?
Someone out there with a dvd or blu-ray of the movie could probably freeze frame the record and maybe even read the label on a HD screen - but I got none of the above. Looks like a Decca 78 record, but a quick image search shows none with the white/red color scheme (IF that's the actual record we hear).
Sorry I can't help - I'm now just as anxious to know the answer. -

Is it possible that Danny Elfman (or someone like that) wrote that song for the movie? Yes I mean the song that plays when the record is playing.
Maybe that record does not actually exist. It could just be a prop.
I don't know one way or the other. But it seems possible since they make no mention to it in the credits. And I've never heard that song before anywhere else.
If that's the case, it's a shame they didn't include it on the soundtrack. -

After giving it some more thought, I realized what I just wrote above is unlikely.
I'm willing to bet money that it's a real record, not a prop, and that aside from Paul Reubens, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone alive who has even the slightest clue what record that is.
But I do hope you find out.
If you could find a way to reach Paul Reubens, he would surely know.
