Maybe FAMEthose characters just really seemed to be having a ball on screen. I would have loved to have been friends with Montgomery McNeill and Ralph Garcy. As a runner up, I think I'd say DIRTY DANCING so I could be privately tutored by Johnny Castle.

Probably 'Downtown '81' aka 'New York Beat Movie'. I'd just walk around New York City all day with Jean-Michel Basquiat, going into galleries and nightclubs, seeing No Wave acts like James Chance and DNA.
FAME is a really good choice too though! Going to the Rocky Horror Picture show, listening to Montgomery play "Is it Okay If I Call You Mine?", going to comedy clubs - lots of enjoyment there as well

Maybe Casablanca or in the opera house in the movie A Night At The Opera with the Marx Brothers!

I'd have to say "Singin' in the Rain."

"Almost Famous", because it always upset me that I was born too late to experience those days- I just don't get today's generation, haha.

Almost Famous is a great, great choice. I'm reading Hammer of the Gods right now, and I'd love to have been a Zeppelin roadie.
I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

The Star Wars universe circa The Empire Strikes Back. Or I could just move to America.

I'd love to be in Breakfast at Tiffany's or Enchanted or Grease. But the one I'd like to be in the most is Momma Mia!
                        How fun would that be?

Great question! I'd choose "Tommy" because I sure play a mean pinball (at least in my wildest dreams).

                              I'd step right into
                              It's A Wonderful Life
, around the end of the movie. Such a joyous scene I'd just love to be a part of it!

I'd go with "You Can't Take It With You"preferably the 1980's Jason Robards version rather than the 1930's Lionel Barrymore one just because I like the original play and the 1980's version is pretty faithful to it.
I think it'd be so great to be in a family that is always following their own creative pursuits and meeting interesting people and just doing their own things without ever having to worry about money or taxes or all the mundane things that make up most of our daily lives.

Many have tried, but few have succeeded: "Somewhere In Time".
But there is good news nonetheless: "Grand Hotel" on Mackinac Island is very much for real and is always welcoming of out-of-state guests. After that, you're on your own.

You mean one of the leading, handsome actors would fall in love with me and step off screen and we'd have a wild, lovely, perfect time?
1992's Wuthering Heights. With Ralph Fiennes as Heathcliff.
I don't/can't even imagine it, because my mind would seizure from sheer awesomeness.
Or you mean if I stepped onto the screen? Because the way Mia's transported it's because the world belongs to the imaginary guy she's in love with.
Otherwise, I'd like to step into the world of Avatar and just hang with the Na'vi.
