If you could be transported into one movie…

You mean one of the leading, handsome actors would fall in love with me and step off screen and we'd have a wild, lovely, perfect time?
1992's Wuthering Heights. With Ralph Fiennes as Heathcliff.
I don't/can't even imagine it, because my mind would seizure from sheer awesomeness.
Or you mean if I stepped onto the screen? Because the way Mia's transported it's because the world belongs to the imaginary guy she's in love with.
Otherwise, I'd like to step into the world of Avatar and just hang with the Na'vi. -

Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas would be cool enough. Get the taste of the foul year of our lord 1971. Maybe even get a sniff of the remnants of the illusion called American Dream.

I'd probably pick one of my favourites - like Brief Encounter (and not let Trevor Howard go!), Pygmalion (because I adore Leslie Howard), or Roman Holiday so I could hang out with Audrey and chase after Gregory Peck!

Great question! I'd have to pick "Blue Hawaii" starring Elvis Presley or any of the Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello beach movies from the 60s like "Beach Blanket Bingo" or "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini." I don't think these are the greatest movies ever made but living a carefree life on the beach would be nice.

Good question. If it was a horror film Rosemary's Baby-68' and hang out with the Castavets. I would want to know more about them and Minnie is one of my favorite film characters, even if she is a tad on the creepy side. Ironically, Farrow starred in this film as well.
If it was a comedy, there could be several; but I think Tootise-82' would be a good call and Dorothy Michaels is a hoot. Hanging out with the gang in Porky's-83', wouldn't be such a bad time either, or spending time with Ferris Bueller-86' on his day off. Even the The Blues Brothers-80', wouldn't be a waste of time either and since they were on a mission from God, you would be safe.
For a drama this is a hard call; but whenever I watch Silkwood-83', I feel like I want to crawl right into it and be a part of their lives.
If it was an action film, that is a harder call because they can be dangerous and violent, so I would have to put more thought into this one.

I haven't seen Where's Poppa Nan, but I was reading about it and it sounds like a very interesting and black story. If Ruth Gordon and George Segal star in it, it would have plenty of merit.
What movies would you want to be transported into Nan?

You only have one thing on your filthy mind Ms Nan.
How about a movie that you love and would want to be a part of? I didn't put Grease on my other post, and that would be a fun musical to be transported into.

That's why I couldn't think of an action movie, because they appear dangerous and it is much safer from the comfort of an armchair to view them.
I haven't seen Bye Bye Birdie.
