Yeah…panther started her own board a while ago and I was invited to join a few weeks ago. It's invite only so as to keep aways trolls.
Today a member posted a hateful thread directed at me over there at Panthers. The problem is that he thinks I'm WILDMAN. Many have tried to explain the truth but to no success.

I see now. Yes. I know about that board too. I was politely told about it. It sounds nice. At this time, I'm not sure about joining any more sites. I have a game site, a gardening site, and a book site that I frequent. In between all of that, I actually have a life away from the internet, so for now, when I talk to you folks, I'll catch you all here.

I'm not going anywhere. I'm starting to think that this other board sounds a great deal like Stepford#1 in that you have to be "the right kind of person" to post.

It's true. All of the drama on all of those other sites/boards ends up here. We have even brought it from MovieChat. We don't have to go anywhere because we have a ringside seat right here at good ole Filmboards.

Not that you asked, but I'm not buggering off, and am sticking here as well. I like it here.
I post on 3 boards. One is a slow moving general discussion board, one is primarily for politics, and then here so I can get my movie and film fix.
I know lots of folks post on a dozen boards and Reddit and stuff, but I've got my hands full as it is and I like so many of the posters here.

I was trying to say that that my board isn't a Stepford-type place. I created it 2 years ago so my friends and I had a non-drama place to go when we got kicked out of V2 by Carter. It has now grown to bigger and we just want to be able to post somewhere without being ridiculed and attacked. Unlike how this place can be with some of the trolls if you know what I mean.

Your board sounds great. 2 years! That has been a while. I like the idea of being able to discuss things of a serious nature without the ridiculous remarks.
I can always talk privately to someone if I'd rather not talk about it here though.
