Talk about some great cars. Ferrari Dinos, Jaguar XKE droptops, and more.
Many pretty cars in this flick. Except for the 86 Dodge Daytona, YUK! what an ugly and wimpy car! Couldn't they at least have got a an American car with a V-8 in it?
And a lot of good actors. And a cool story.
But it just don't come together. The editing was weird in places and Jones gets to make some strange one-offs as the movie proceeds. Hamilton is sexy but the 80's shoulder pads on every outfit she wears lack only one thing-a football helmet! She looks like a light running back in every outfit! And until she and Jones get in the sack it's doubtful Jones has any interest in sex at all.
It's a totally 80's movie. No leg warmers though, oddly enough. -

I watched it again and it was better. It's really more of a late 70's sort of action movie with 1980's fashion.
They really whoop up on TLJ, good thing it's just a movie or he wouldn't be sireing any children!
That droptop Jag makes me hot. -

I liked it just as a fun action movie with a ciggie packet plot, no pretensions. And I thought Linda H looked hot in those 80's outfits. (I actually liked that look on women, it was better than the ubiquitous t-shirt,jeans & trainers they all wear now. At least they were taking trouble with clothes, hair, jewelry & makeup.)
Actually any film with Linda H in it is OK for me!

You like women dressed like fullbacks? Shoulderpads may look cool on some sort of 40's style gown, but the shoulder pads of the 80's always looked dorky to me.
I am not a woman and the E-Type Jag makes me hot, I want to be inside itshifting and thrusting! -

I couldn't agree with you more, medicone064. I STILL love Linda Hamilton in her old movies too, especially those few movies that she costarred with Arnold Schwarnegger with!
