They were talking about it a while ago and Jack Black was involved and the story was now about David as a rock fanatic who is abducted by a spaceship voiced by black who was on a mission to get data on eart music.not messing!!It was a few months ago , i hope they gave up on that terrible idea.

I wouldn't mind a remake as long as Disney brings back Sarah Jessica Parker in some capacity and also brings back Paul Reubens to voice Max.
Joey Cramer is no longer acting, thus a cameo appearance by him can be ruled out.
