Just saw it and it was a lot better than I remember it. It definitely had a classic vibe to it.
I really like the romance and battle to finish mentality of it.

It is, though it looks cheesy now. Kurgan was great, the main guy not so much. A better casting choice would have been Liam Neeson.

If you see it in bluray, I dont think it looks so cheesy. This film though popular is very underrated. You can see they use the lands and nice costumes. None of that cgi crap and it was like a play at times. Very poetic.

Liam Neeson's too tall. The Kurgan wouldn't have looked as intimidating. Christopher Lambert was perfect for the role.

There is a lot of sexual references in an old middle age film and I like the theme of fighting to be one.
