I enjoy both the songs by Queen, and the score by Michael Kamen.
As a film and Queen fan, this is essential viewing.

It's Queen, everyone loves them. How can the music be underrated?

To be fair, they might mean it's underrated in America, which it probably is. The "Kind of Magic" album was a relative flop in America, peaking at just 46, compared to the UK, where it went straight in at number one and spent over a year on the chart. So underrated in the UK? No. Underrated in the US? Probably.
The band who could have done the soundtrack but turned it down, Marillion, now they are underrated in both countries IMHO. Despite being quite big for a while in the UK, they've been almost completely forgotten even there.

I love the soundtrack. I bought it for myself for my 16th birthday, unbeknownst to me that day I also got the DVD and a Connor MacLeod Claymore sword. The soundtrack was still one of the biggest highlights of the day.
