This is one of the more recent movies to be shown on Svengoolie. I was rather surprised. I remember watching this one, mostly because (of all things) that fence.

Trivia: One of the first cops seen actually played little David in the original, so there's an "in-joke" when he's heard saying, "Gee, I haven't been back here since I was a little kid," as he and his cop buddy are seen walking over the hill beside the fence.
Trivia: The little boy playing David Gardner in this remake is actually Karen Black's son.
Ohh, man, how I just love Karen Black! Always have. She's amazing.

Wow that was pretty bad lol. I wish Sven would make more contemporary song parodies like he used to in the older days of his show. Now it seems like exclusively old show tunes (or whatever they are considered)
