I've heard about this scene that's probably in this movie, where Pryor overdoses on heroin. Is that scene in this film?

to my knowledge, i don't think pryor ever had a heroin problem (or heroin overdose, for that matter). it was cocaine and freebasing that he was addicted to

                Nope, in
                Lady Sings the Blues
, he doesn't OD. He is high, but
                he's murdered
                .
Helga, I'm not mad at you; I'm mad at the dirt.

He gets murdered in Lady Sings the Blues?
Pryor gets murdered in that movie?
That is what you blacked out.
                  That he gets murdered?
                  Oh man.
I dunno if I want to see RP get murdered.
