I loved this movie and happened to have a chance of watching it again today on TV.
On reflection the only things that I would change would be never to show Jack's face but keep the mystery there. It would end with Whoopi looking up and saying "Hello Jack".
Any thoughts, flames etc.

That, or they could have invited a James Bond to do the part (Roger Moore, Sean Connery)
