        We had one too when I was a kid, but he was too big and my parents knew nothing about dogs at the time.

          Oh I bet. Their coat is a pain in the ASS to maintain. I used to keep him short and even then I was following him around with the handheld hoover.
          He was my favourite dog ever but put me off getting another for life.
          His temperament was so warm and loving. He was so timid too. Think he was abused by a previous owner.
