I do not need to know about your infatuation with this model. Please stop posting the same thread over and over.

          ^^ good one ^^
I imagine you might want a subscription to Maxim magazine lots of drool-worthy models in undies.
not everybody from Utah is Morman as not everybody in the bible belt is Christian.
          End of line

I thought Maxim mag publishing ended years ago. Or was it Stuff? Anyhoo Playboy sales have surprisingly risen since getting rid of full nudes for the lame semi-nude format that everyone else is doing.

              End of line

We'll see long term if circulation stays up. Right now it's a novelty.
Maxim is no longer being published? I thought they were the king of those magazines.

I wouldn't be surprised if Playboy's sales have gone up at the newsstands but would be surprised if their subscriber base has increased.
As a kid in the 70s I remember Playboy, Penthouse, Playgirl and Oui were sitting there at the checkout line with all the other magazines in neighborhood grocery stores with their covers on full display. That meant they could be spur-of-the-moment purchases and I recall people waiting in line, picking up one of those magazines, flipping through the pages, then deciding to toss it in the grocery cart with the eggs, bread and milk.
Sometime in the 80s, maybe because of the Meese commission, those magazines seemed to disappear from a lot of places, and newsstand sales went way down. What Playboy was trying to do by going to the new format was to get the magazine displayed in more places so the spur-of-the-moment purchases (I think there's a better term for this but I can't think of it at the moment) could increase. Now I guess places that carry Maxim can go back to carrying Playboy.

There is a general trend in convenience stores and other outlets for less magazine space. They've taken away a rack. But they usually still carry the Maxim type magazines. I think the serious downturn in retail space for the skin magazines started way after the Meese Commission and is more related to the general decrease in the popularity of magazines due to the high cover prices and the availability of porn on the internet. They use the cover price to subsidize the subscription price, which in Playboy's case, in recent years, could be a little over a dollar an issue for a year's subscription.
