AND "Areaology" appears on Urban Dictionary (The worship of the all-encompassing Area, AKA David Bowie's crotch)
And it's not weird at all. I'd be more worried about those who DIDN'T find him sexy in Labyrinth

I also would find it weird if someone watched this and didn't find him sexy. He's oozing sex appeal - in fact it's bubbling over more than that smelly pond they had to cross.

Joining you here. His sex-appeal has always puzzled me. To me he looks like Clint Eastwood, who in turn looks like tree bark. Not dissing anyone, just wondering about the variety of human tastes

I agree with most of the other posters.. David Bowie is sexy! Especially in this movie. When I was a little kid I really wanted Sarah and Jareth to hook up. Now I realize that would be gross because she's so young.. but it still didn't keep me from daydreaming about it back then!

I don't think the idea of Sarah and Jareth being together is as disturbing as it could be, because Labyrinth is very much a fairy tale and you could say a character like Jareth is technically ageless compared to a normal human like Sarah.
A film like Labyrinth would never be made today with such a large age gap between the leading man and lady because people would just angrily dismiss it as peadophilia, which is frustrating.
