Anyone reading this message board will have seen Tampopo.
Anyone who has seen Tampopo will know how good it is.
It will have sunk into their heart and mind.
It will have become a part of thier soul.
There is no need to discuss your own soul.
Therefore, there is no need to discuss Tampopo.

By reading the title of your post, I thought the body of the message was going to be:
"it's better to burn out than fade away!"
      😉

Doubt you will ever see this, as it is like 13 years later, but that is EXACTLY what I thought as well. 🙂

This movie I saw in 1987 and I haven't beeen able to find it again. It was on CBC latenightuncutGod Bless CanadaI will never forget this movie about the search for the perfect noodle. And the two people having sex in the assorted scenes that seemed to have nothing to do with the movie(itself)A superb movie a great movie an unfindable movie.

Sorry, it's been deleted - in the UK at least. I found out just before Christmas, when I went to buy a copy.
My own taped copy wore out so if anyone knows how to get PLEASE post it here. I know every scene, but I so want to watch it. Just for the old man's last duck pancake
