It is not true that Brooke Shields precocious sensuality in Pretty Baby was universally found to be acceptable when it aired; MANY people found it objectionable and still do find the overt sexualizing of increasingly younger girls to be Very Troubling.
This is not about what real young people may actually choose to do, but about the proliferation of images of girls as sexual objects. There is so much more to being female than being seen as sex-worthy!

No, they are definitely referring to Pretty Baby, Brookes first movie, it was somewhat controversial when it came out. Have you seen it? (Spoiler ahead). She's 12 and lives in the brothel her mother works at. Her virginity of auctioned for a great amount and it goes on from there She's fully naked in some scenes, I was amazed it got pass censors etc
