they need to plan a full release of the entire series. Re-scan the original negatives and release them in HD on bluray. It'd still be in 4:3 but look really good.
The dvd release was half assed, hate to say it, but Ducktales deserves much better treatment. -

At this point, nobody really knows when it's going to come out. I'm pretty disappointed at the lack of information regarding this, but I wouldn't write off the possibility of the remaining episodes of this series (or RESCUE RANGERS, GUMMI BEARS, DWDuck, etc.) still debuting on DVD, if not this year than probably the next.
Then again, it is EXTREMELY impossible to predict what Disney is up to this days.

Not only Disney studio company but also many other American video companies always pull a stuff like this. Many popular cartoon DVDs are suffering the same fate, only the last season or volume got left off, and the reason always is, according to them, it's low sales. I wonder if the second to last season always gets the lowest sales in the market or they just keep making excuses for not wanting to clean up their messes?

I've only seen volumes 1 and 2. I'm waiting for volume 3 from NetFlx. When does Bubba come in? They go back in time to lay claim on a diamond mine, and the diamond mine turns out to be Bubba's cave. He comes forward in time to save them. That was the coolest story arc in the whole show. I loved Bubba, he was hilarious.

I really hope they are still going to release this last volume.
Otherwise I'm stuck with an incomplete serie, and I really like this one. So I really want to get it complete.
PLEASE Disney go on with releasing this, you are probably or last hope with this serie, so don't leave us with an incomplete serie. -

Alright, it's been over three years now, and I'm still waiting.
I don't want to think they won't release the last volume at all, but I fear that's the case.
Come on, I really want to see the last episodes. DuckTales is an awesome show. -

They may get around to releasing it eventually. Sometimes they release them annually, other times they wait a few years in between releases. Maybe they wanted to stop and see if the DVD sets that are currently available will sell well enough to warrant more. So go out and buy DuckTales Volumes 1-3 and (if you're a fan) DarkWing Duck, TaleSpin, Chip'N Dale Rescue Rangers. The only way you'll see more is to embrace what is already here.

Last week I wrote an email to Disney asking if and when they were going to release the rest of Ducktales to DVD. I did receive a response, unfortunatly I was told that Disney has no plans at this time to release any additional volumes of Ducktales to DVD.
In light of this, I went on the search for a way to get the rest of the episodes, and did find a torrent file with all the episodes without commercials if you do a search on google for "Ducktales Torrent" Its a 21 GB download which even with 6mb a second took 18 hrs but it was soooo worth it.
I hope this helps fans like me, get what Disney won't let us pay for. -

So, good news. The final volume of TaleSpin and DuckTales:The Movie are now available on DVD at stores. Gargoyles Season 2 Volume 2 is now available as an exclusive at Wal-Mart (in fact TaleSpin and DuckTales The Movie were released in this fashion .First a small an "exclusive" club release, a year later a small "stealth release" at Wal-Mart then a wide release a few months later.)
What does this mean? Simply putwe may see the final volumes of Ducktales and the like on DVD sooner rather then later. Fingers crossed! -

It doesn't mean anything. All of these releases were available for a long time through Disney Movie Club as exclusives (DT the movie has been available for YEARS through them, that's why I joined with them just to get that movie). All they are doing is making titles that have been available for years for wider release. Goof Troop Volume 1 & 2 have been released as well, but again those were available through DMC. In a few years I'm sure we will see the first 2 seasons of Kim Possible and Weekenders as well. Unless DMC makes the last volumes of DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, etc. available I really doubt we will ever see them.
