Meh, I thought it ran out of steam in its final years. We were treated to the same hackneyed jokes about the kids (one's a bimbo, the other can't get laid), the wife (a complete waste of space), Marcy's looks (which really weren't that bad), Al (where to start?), fat jokes about women, bald jokes about guys, etc. The lowbrow humor worked in the early seasons but got tiresome after so many episodes.

you're wrong so many shows even cheers i'm sure used the same jokes over and over again and were still great shows.
its using the story and characters and situations over and over again bc they work.

Married with Children wasn't funny at all. Al was making jokes about overweight women.
The humor is on par with 10-year-old boys making armpit farting noises.

no, marcy was ugly well at the end of the show in the last 5 or 7 years anyway. as soon as she had a butch dyke haircut she was forever ugly but yes actually in the first 3 or 4 seasons with long hair she looked beautiful but al didnt start to rag on her as being ugly until she had short butch dyke hair. so that made sense.
but my overall viewpoint on her is she was ugly i mean i never was attracted to her after she had short hair. so most of the time she was ugly.
which is why it was so odd and weird seeing her in fright night looking very beautiful and very hot i was disturbed by this. it kind of seems like bad casting even bc of how she mostly looked on married…with children.
and i have very low qualifications of beauty in actresses most actresses i find beautiful and hot so for me to not think she was either most of the time and ultimately on this show means she wasn't beautiful or hot enough to be a big movie actress.

It was a very good sitcom. Those are rare. I don't think Seinfeld was on for 9 years but it was better. Jewish in NYC beats white trash, but both were funny.

seinfeld ran from 1989-1998, so 9 years.
what i love about jerry seinfeld is he's still working on comedy, he's still thinking every day about funny things, he's thinking deeply about everyday things that are funny, he's stretching his mind at his old at age like 65 now.
which is so admirable and still making comedy on his show comedians in cars getting coffee, most comedians would stop making comedy all the time by the time they are 60 or 55.

one of my biggest internet pet peeves is this. to look at the whole list you have to scroll through 50 pages bc each entry is seperate3d by a page. they should just put all the things on one page.
