On a board for Star Trek, which is supposed to represent a future in which human beings have finally learned to stop being a bunch of prejudicial, hateful morons that spend all their time beep everyone over for themselves, we have a message about how great Trump is, and how awesome it will be when he builds his wall and starts forcibly removing people from this country.
What do you think Picard would have thought of Trump? Or Kirk? Do you think they would support him? Champion him, for his wonderful contribution to humanity? Help him fill the so called "trains" with illegals as we throw them out of the country?
Or do you think that either one of them would come up with a better solution? One that was more logical and/or peaceful in nature?

This issue has already been addressed in the Star Trek universe in the Deep Space Nine second season episode "Sanctuary." At the end of the episode the foreign illegal aliens trying to settle on Bajor got removed and put on an uninhabited planet:

The episode first aired on Nov 28 1993 and was an episode written in response to California Proposition 187 which banned illegals from getting free education and health care in California. The proposition passed in 1994 but Governor Gray Davis overturned it in 1999 and he later got overturned as Governor for Arnold Schwarzenneger in 2003. My how things have changed with decades of continually flooding California with illegal immigrants, as of 2015, they now get driver's licenses.

Federation President Trump would tell Picard to remove the illegals and he would try diplomacy like he did with trying to remove the Indians in "Journey's End" and in the end would beam the illegals into the holodeck making them believe they're still in America and then beaming them back to their own country of origin while they sleep.
Kirk would just beam them straight from America back to their own countries.

All very good points. And you know what? If I thought we were dealing with reasonable people in a world with reasonable leaders, I wouldn't be so concerned as to the repercussions of targeting a certain group of people.
The problem is, we aren't dealing with reasonable people. We don't have any reasonable leaders. How do you think they will locate these illegal immigrants, and when they do, what will be their treatment, once they do? According to the rules, they are not American citizens, therefore there are no laws to protect them from the kind of treatment that the prisoners of Abu Graib suffered. To say nothing of the practices that will be implemented in finding these people.
Will our houses be searched, without warrants, in case we are harboring fugitives? Will you subjugate your rights of privacy and ownership to allow the "authorities" to invade your home, to catch these illegals? Wouldn't it require something like that to actually remove all of them?
Isn't it doubtful that the police would do this, instead a new team of so-called "authorities" to go into people's houses and find these illegals?
I care about human rights, and human suffering. What I see here is the beginnings of just another excuse for cruelty and dehumanization of human beings, and nobody seems to be worried about it or seems to care. The one mistake we have repeated over and over and over again in society is the blanketing of a entire "race" of people that share characteristics of undesirables, and then throwing out all elements of decency in their treatment, justified by made-up reasons that make it okay to use rape and murder as punishments.
Stop lying to yourselves about the people you hate that you don't even know, and ask yourselves the important questions: Why do you hate them? What is it about them that you hate?
Because if you got your answers to those questions from Donald Trump or Fox News, you aren't thinking for yourself. And you're helping to create another miserable chapter in human history.

Exactly!!! And no anchor babies, no government benefits. My tax dollars should NOT go to educating their children, I'd rather that money be spent on our own poor children's education. If illegals are denied all these benefits, they would self deport. -

Are you in favor of violence against illegals, once their lack of citizenship is verified, and no laws exist to protect them from abuse? Are you in favor of paying for the deportation of these illegals, and the rise in taxes you will pay to build Trump's wall?
Just because we disagree, do you have to resort to name calling? You've already called me a nut job, now you're calling me a baby. I haven't demonstrated either a lack of sanity or an inability to make it to the bathroom. Do you have to act like such a prick, just because I'm challenging the ideas of the person that you perceive as your savior?
Because never in my life have I seen such an overwhelming love for a guy who likes to grab pussies, pick on disabled people, cheat people out of money, and hire white supremacists into positions of political power just to catch a few bucks. No one is going to be inspecting private homes for illegal aliens, and no one is going to be allowed to abuse them. There needs to be penalties for companies that employ illegals. Illegals should get no government benefits. Don't give them incentives to stay. Encourage them to self deport.

What has Trump been competent at? He inherited his money. He bankrupted three times. He's been involved one way or another in over 4,000 lawsuits. He cheats people out of money. He creates false institutions, and pockets all the income without delivering product (Trump University). He lies about his taxes.
Donald Trump is a con man. He's going to give you a little so you'll buy his schtick, but when all is said and done, he's going to walk away with a lot of money, and that is all he has or ever will care about, and nothing in his demeanor, his business practices, his statements, or his choices of personnel has suggested anything else of the kind. He does not care about you, or me, or anyone else. He does not care about America, its future, its policies. He cares about filling his wallet.
And he will. Because you believe him.

Admit it. Let's say you're wrong. Let's say he DOES promote a policy where suddenly it will be okay for the inspection of your home. YOU WON'T STOP HIM. You would comply, based only on your incessant beliefs of what a great and noble guy he is. Hell, at this point the guy could stand in the middle of the White House lawn, bare his ass, and take a beep on the American flag.
I don't think you'd care. You'd STILL believe he's the answer to fixing the country. And I think there's something terribly insane about that.

First the wall is getting built, then the criminal illegals that have already been caught and sitting in our jails will be the first to get deported. Then the sanctuary cities will get defunded and eliminated and all the wellfare entitlements for illegals go bye-bye and hopefully it will entice those here illegally to self-deport themselves. I don't harbor illegals so I would never have to worry about such a thing and no I'm not in favor of any violence against illegals except for the ones that have actually killed Americans. The wall will be paid by Mexico, Trump has explained it pretty well from his website, America has the leverage:

Trump has run a successful company that has built many buildings all over the world and employs tens of thousands of people from all walks of life. Through his companies he turned inherited Millions into Billions, which is kind of hard to do and not the mark of a failure, but one of success. Also he's written many successful books and ran a successful reality show called "The Apprentice" for 10 years. The best businessman have many different ventures and some succeed and some don't, that's life.
The greatest thing about Trump is he doesn't have to answer to any special interest donors like Hillary and is not for gutting the middle class of America for Globalism. But you keep drinking the kool-aide from the left-wing main stream media like the Communist News Network and stay out of touch. -

And I'll add that these illegals being paid under the table are not only not paying income taxes, but they send a lot of the money they make back to their home country, so it's not going back into our economy. The children of illegals take our education dollars, money that would be better spent giving our inner city kids a better quality education.
