thank you! one of my favorite lessons is the poster that has the guys sitting on a iron girder eating lunch.
They notice how the guys just chill. they never mention how there are not any Mexicans or any blacks.
then we get to the time: 1932. the fifth graders kind of know about the great depression and comment on:
so we were in a depression like 3 years ago and here we are building skyscrapers. we need to pay these people to work, we need to pay for the materials to build these skyscrapers. and there are no hard hats and scaffolding [that they see in the [picture] these guys just lived their lives and did their jobs.
that is what we are missing today, the concept of having a craft is obsolete and frowned upon. I don't get this!

It was a mistake Nak he even re-tweeted the message with the correct spelling,and people who run major firms don't have to be the brightest bulb haven't you watched The Big Short,Wall Street II Money never Sleeps or Margin Call Nak? And Trump only got wealthy because his daddy made his wealth.He is not of blue collar origins as he might like to portray he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth,so asking that guy to imagine how the average American lives and what he has to do to make ends meet is completely foreign to him.So those who expect their lives to improve under his guidance are delusional just shouting soundbites that sound right,doesn't always make for the right solution to the problems the US has,as a matter of fact the leaving of companies and economical immigrants is something Trump can't do sh!t about because it is happening everywhere around the globe and is part of the deregulated globalisation that the US always wanted so badly so the problem is if the US wanted less globalisation the main economy that suffers from the decision would be the US economy itself, that is problem Trump has to tackle! Mexican immigration and and economical migration of US companies from the US are just symptoms of what is wrong with globalisation in general.
