You know, I never understood how showing respect to foreign leaders on their home soil constituted an apology tour, but then I've never been too good at politics. That's why I prefer Star Trek - as an artificial construct, it's easier to deconstruct and things actually mean things.

I predicted he would be president way back when he insulted McCain and got away with it.
Also before he even ran I predicted that if a person ran that just "said stuff" good or bad that was different than the usual politician that the people would eat it up.
Unfortunately, I was right. -

Yes indeed unfortunately,it seems like the candidate that says the most outrageous things, insults large segments of the population and members of his own party seems to win.Politics nowadays seems to consist of spouting impracticable lies and filth ordinary people need to know politics is not a profession of easy solutions and one liners. You have my sympathies Little Miss Yappa.

You're on the right track, Nexus, but not quite. The American people are sick of politicians and the "I'm not a politician" campaigns are getting huge support. Add to that, he was running against someone with political scandals galore. Most likely Sanders would have defeated Trump.
I think I said it on this board before, but Hillary also made a huge mistake focusing on Trump having sexual harassment claims. She's married to the king of sexual harassment and if she cared about it one bit she would have gotten divorced before anyone even knew who Monica Lewinsky was.
So who plans to watch
White House Celebrity Intern

Wasn't Trump a game show host? And tell you how stupid that show was, he use to tell unemployed celebrities, "You're fired". Didn't they already know that? And his running mate, Pants, he was a conservative radio talk show host. A mid-west-poor-man's-rush-limbaugh. Wow!
Spenser with an "S", like the poet. -

Well, perhaps you'll enjoy the White House version where he gets celebrity interns.
Of course there's a bunch of hateful unemployed morons protesting the election in the big cities. Apparently they don't like the democratic process. And anyone saying he's not your President: once inaugurated in a couple of months, he will be the President of these United States. So if he's not your President when that comes to pass, get the heck out of this country.
And for those with short memories, the same types of people did the 'not my President' bit with GW Bush when he took office. They cut it out when 9/11 happened and they were glad to have a President who would take action instead of point at the WTC on fire and say, "That's making the planet get warmer." -

Hillary has won the popular vote.
Even just two days before the election, Trump was STILL talking about getting rid of the electoral college. And now he's only POTUS because of the electoral college. So I doubt he'll go through on what he said.
But THIS is why the "not my president" people are out there. By Trump's rhetoric himself, he should not be POTUS.
But, even at his victory speech, mere minutes after Hillary conceded
Trump already had Christie and Giuliana up on the stage with him.
TRANSLATION FOR THE FOOLS WHO VOTED FOR HIM:
NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
Trump's now talking about deregulating the banks. Holy S, that's precisely what got us into the 2008 recession to begin with.
I can only think that college-educated white women voted for Trump as they soon enough will end up in so much poverty, that they just won't be able to pay their college loans at all anymore
Bravo, fools
And no, this wasn't a plug for Hillary. Hillary's biggest miscalculation was in running again. Eight years ago, even the Democrats themselves didn't want her, and nominated Obama. If the Democrats themselves don't want you why on Earth do you run again?
Our media won't report that though, of course. But that itself was Hillary's biggest problem. Even the Democratic Party hasn't wanted her for eight years now.
(Oddly enough, I betcha if the world economies tank fast enough with Trump there Hillary will still attempt a 2020 run. If we're in a worse hole by 2020 than we were in 2008, well, don't be shocked at all if Hillary not only runs but also wins)
This election has shown that the people are willing to vote a crook into POTUS.
Besides, Bill Clinton got impeached for his sexual shenanigans but now Trump is the GOP posterboy??? If Gingrich indeed get a cabinet position with Trump, then that will show that Republicans truly do not care.
Took 18 years, but at least it's now been shown to be crystal clear that Bill Clinton's impeachment was purely and only political. -

Honest???
Just a few days before the election, at a rally a protester tried to run towards the stage with a sign and only a sign.
Trump's camp called this an "assassination attempt" by Hillary's group.
He not only had no gun, but the Secret Service even let him go without charges.
Also, he's a Republican, not even a Democrat.
But to Trump's people it was an assassination attempt by Hillary's people.
This kind of lying is what you want the man with his finger on the button to have?
Wow, I thought only Kim Jong-Un has this kind of control over his people -

The, "not my president" people are just a bunch of whiny babies crying because they didn't get their way. Trump is still better than the corrupt and incompetent Hillary, and at least he's planning to undo the damage that Obama did to this country. Obama never should have been president either, he wasn't qualified. And he made a bad situation worse with healthcare.

And Trump is going to once again deregulate the banks.
He's planning to redo the damage that Bush Jr did.
The Great Recession taught you fools nothing!?
Everyone bemoans that Obama damaged this country.
Bush Jr damaged the world. And Trump will repeat it.
Fools.
